Our Story

The Birth of a Movement

In the late ’80s and early ’90s, when hip-hop culture exploded into a global movement, one brand captured the heartbeat of a generation Van Grack.

More than fashion, Van Grack became a uniform of identity worn by the creators, the athletes, and the visionaries who defined an era. Synonymous with street style and fearless self-expression, it was a label that spoke to authenticity long before the world demanded it.

The genius behind Van Grack was Peter Moore, a design revolutionary whose creative fingerprints shaped some of Nike’s most iconic moments. Alongside his partner Rob “Rolling Thunder” Strasser, Moore brought art, attitude, and innovation to the world of sport and culture. Together, they were the Da Vinci and Michelangelo of the sneaker world— architects of legends, from the creation of the Jumpman logo to the revival of Adidas in America.

A Legacy of Audacity

Van Grack’s story is a symphony of audacity and vision a brand born from rebellion, rooted in creativity, and built for the streets. Once worn by NBA greats and hip-hop pioneers, its designs became emblems of a new kind of power: the power to move differently, to think boldly, and to wear confidence like armor.

Moore’s career was a journey through defining moments from Nike’s “Be True to Your School” campaign to transforming Moses Malone into a modern-day legend on the court. But it was his bold venture into Van Grack, alongside Strasser, that solidified his legacy.

Reborn for a New Generation

Today, Van Grack stands as a bridge between past and present an homage to street culture’s golden age and a vision of what’s next. The brand’s rebirth isn’t about nostalgia; it’s about evolution. It carries the same DNA of creative risk-taking and authenticity, reinterpreted through modern craftsmanship, sustainable materials, and timeless design.
